Violet is 14 months today, and is practicing her
walking. She unfortunately has conjunctivitis, hence the red
puffy
eyes. Her vocab words are still "Hi" and "Mama", but she's
now waving hello and goodbye without being prompted, as well as blowing
kisses.

Today Violet received a package from her cousins
Jacob and Joshua.
Naturally she seemed to enjoy the box as much as the gift
itself.

Mom and Dad came out from California to visit for
a week.
Included in their visit was a very exciting racing day at
Keeneland, where fortunately more money was won than lost. I

Violet is 13 months
old today! Her
favourite words are "Hi" and "Mama", although she still says them
indiscriminately to cabinets, her toys, etc. She's adept at
pulling up and scooting along the couch and tables, but hasn't yet
taken any steps on her own.
